darzur Posted September 23, 2008 Share Posted September 23, 2008 Hello, As I cannot manage Zephyroth's 10.5.2 to work with my Radeon 9800XT (no QE/CI) I've decided to install JaS 10.4.8 PPF1&PPF2. Before downloading ISO I've checked HCL for 10.4.8 and it looked that everything should be OK. My system is: * Athlon 64 x2 5200+ AM2 * mobo ASRock AM2NF3-VSTA nForce3 250 * 4 gigs of RAM * Radeon 9800XT * ATA HDD All these devices are on HCL for 10.4.8, but unfortunately I can't boot DVD. Every time I try it hangs at "Kernel Version: Darwin Kernel Version 8.8.1: Sat Dec 9 22:18:27 AZOT 2006; semthex:/nebukadnezar/Build/obj/RELEASE_I386"(or something very similar ). Is there any possibility to install this release on my machine?? I've disabled SATA, DVD and HDD are on same channel.
