I feel like a dumb SOB. I installed JaS 10.5.4 with no problems and it ran fine. I re-arranged my hard drives and needed to reinstall osx and kept getting that damn error /com.apple.boot.plist

My searches told me to get a sata dvd drive, which i've had all along.

Here is my brilliant solution to a stupid problem....

TAKE THE DVD OUT OF THE DRIVE ONCE IT IS INSTALLED.. it worked right away after a reboot... error is gone and now im into leopard...

Hopefully someone can save themselves some frustration by reading this.
