seasoul
Now the problem solved. Previously I used Chun-Nan's PCICARD driver rev8 version. The card slot seems to be drived but the wireless chip does not work. Then Chun-Nan recommends me to use his newest driver beta 3. This time, everything is OK. By the way, thanks a lot to Chun-Nan. -------------------------------------------------------Follows the orignal post. I bought this cardbus card because I saw its name on the Leopard compatible hardware list and it's available in the computer accessories shop nearby. I followed the procedure in this post by Chun-Nan to make the PCMCIA-CARDBUS slot work: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...6&hl=wpc54g Then I use the Broadcom bcm43xx wireless driver in http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...5&hl=wpc54g Things seem not to work. The symtom is like in this post exactly: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...4&hl=wpc54g I noticed that soon after I boot leopard the wireless signal come out for a short moment, and then disappear. But in the second post, the author confirmed that Linksys WPC54G works, that means many people succeed to make it. I was a little wondering if it is because the IOCARDFAMILY driver. If you have experiences, please help me solve it. I also tried my friends D-link 650+, the same problem.
