yeshua
I searched this forum a bit but couldn't find this topic specifically since there are over 700 pages of topics! Has anyone had a successful install on an x86 box with regular old apple distribution 10.4 install DVDs? I'm contemplating doing OSX on an x86 homebuild, but I don't plan on using Windows at all - it would simply be a beefier version of what I'm doing with my MacBook since Mac Pros are still $3K. Is it possible to do something like a FAT partition format and partition activation with an officially purchased 10.4 install DVD? Or does it absolutely have to somehow be hacked to run on an x86 box with a dual OS? Thanks for any ideas and help.
