Hi everyone, I really wanna to install Tiger in my Laptop Toshiba that has a 60 gb hd, I already have also Linux in a partition of 10 gb, so basically my hard drive is like this :

WINDOWS 50 GB (NTFS)| SHARED PARTITION 1GB (FAT32) | LINUX SWAP 1GB | LINUX EXT2 8 GB

So I want to make a new partition of 10 gb for installing MAC , but I tried using Partition Magic with the option of resizing my 50 GB to 40gb, and moving the others partition to the LEFT SO the MAC partition would be at the end of the disk like this:

WINDOWS 40 GB (NTFS)| SHARED PARTITION 1GB (FAT32) | LINUX SWAP 1GB | LINUX EXT2 8 GB | MAC 10GB

with this schema using Partition magic the only thing I get was that when it was in 24% completed it STUCK!! and the windows partition got damaged.

ANY ADVICE????????????????

Hiya Libni,

You could always use Ghost or another imaging/backup program to backup or make images of your Linux & Win OS's, then format the drive, create three partitions and restore the two images/backups to their respective partitions.

Remember, it has been shown that OS X doesn't like extended partitions, so it's highly recommended to install OS X into a primary partition.
