Here's my specs: AMD64 x2 3800+ ASUS A8N5X Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ATI Radeon X800 PCI-E 256MB Maxtor 300GB SATA Maxtor 80GB PATA D-LINK DWL something or other. I am having problems installing. When I try on my SATA drive, it doesn't recognize the drive. I don't have any way of installing it so I can't edit a kext file before trying the install (can I?). I also tried my IDE drive listed above and it takes forever to get past the Apple logo, and when it finally does, it shuts down my computer. Any ideas on what's wrong and how to make it work? nastri83 Posted March 21, 2006 Author Share Posted March 21, 2006 Oh yeah, I'm using the myz ISO and I was trying the <a href="http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=11339">10-step noob setup for dual booting tutorial.</a> so I've been booting with acronis. The DVD I'm using is a Princo DVD+R. My SATA drive has an NTFS partition for windows on it and one blank partition, and the PATA drive is just a blank partition, unformatted. Haven't tried VMWare to Native yet, but I'm willing to give it a shot next.
