image organiser & viewers

hey people. traversing from windows, I haven't found any image viewers that suits my viewing habits. I downloaded heaps of image browsers now(freeware), but none had complete functionality. I am currently using xsee, just looking and phoenix slides. I use xsee to browse individual imagines. just look for setting background images. then phoenix for multi-image view. Anybody know of an app that has all these combined? Similarly to ACDSee.
