Titan Driver: Resolution didn't change

NVinject: Resolution didn't change

Natit: Loops on boot (where it shows the apple logo), and refuses to continue the boot process

MacVidia: After Apples logo i get a black screen

also i tried to change resolution with editing apples boot plist, and also with an application that it supposed to force the resolution, nothing happened

My graphics card is: Nvidia 7600 GT 256 Memory and i use iDeneb 10.5.4 Distribution...

Check in System/Library/Extensions for

GeForce.kext

NVDANV40HAL.kext

NVDARESMAN.kext

these should be present for GeForce 7xxx series GFX cards.....

Also if Nitat.kext and Titan.kext and MacVidia.kext are present remove them......

Repair Permissions on System/Library/Extensions via Terminal

sudo chown -R root:wheel System/Library/Extensions

sudo chmod -R 755 System/Library/Extensions

reboot with -v -f.......and report what happens.......

it has GeForce.kext, NVDARESMAN.kext, but not nvdanv40.kext, it has NVDANV40Hal.kext, what should i do?

That is OK.....just difference in typing.....I presume you have confirmed that both the GFX card and Monitor are capable of the resolution you wish to switch too....?

yes they are both capable

In that case, reboot and report what happens......if you get video report what you see under Graphics/Displays in System Profiler......

I see the following:

800x500

848x480

1024x640

1280x800

1280x960

1280x1024

1360x768

What is the brand of your GFX card? Is RAM DDR2 or DDR3?

it is ddr3, and it is gigabyte

Suggest you first uninstall NVinject.kext and repair permissions via Terminal again.....download and run Nvkush v4.20.2......report if any change to resolution options......
