jjwilliams Posted September 19, 2008 Share Posted September 19, 2008 I currently have the GA-EP35C-DS3R mobo with the 889a built in sound. My sound works fine but my optical out I cannot get working no matter what. From what I've read on the site it seems a lot of people have problem with the optical so I'm going to assume it doesn't work. Hopefully I'm wrong and someone can point me in the right direction. Assuming it doesn't work, what are some soundcards I can consider that have native optical out so I can send sound to my receiver. I can go PCI or USB. Any suggestions would be much appreciative.
