X71C4L
I'm having these problems with an installation on a partitioned drive on my laptop. Vista 64-bit is already installed. The first problem is booting OS X. I get a boot problem error, then it says pausing for 5 seconds, then it reboots. However, if I type cpus=1 it boots fine (although it still displays the error). The hardware diagnostics thing from the boot disc sid I had 0 cpus, so I kind of guessed that solution. But I still have to type it every time. The second problem is that OS X wont recognize my keyboard or touchbad when it is booted. If I plug in a usb mouse it works fine, but I can't get it to recognize the built in things on my laptop. I saw a fix somewhere that said to run the repair permissions things from the disk utility. I tried that and it didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
