beth
Hi all !! I have a little problem (for me it's a big one), I can't get Quartz Extreme and Core Image working on my hackintosh notebook. I am using NVinjectGo 0.2.0c, in a lenovo 3000 N200 notebook. I'm using kalyway 10.5.2 upgraded to 10.5.3, my current kernel, is 9.3.0 (if uname -r doesn't lies). Well, the screen resolution is well detected to 1600x1050, I also can change it, but I didn't have Quartz Extreme nor Core Image, as you can see from the System Profiler output: Graphics by NVIDIA: Chipset Model: Graphics by NVIDIA Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x01d7 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: NVinjectGo 0.2.0c Displays: Display: Resolution: 1680 x 1050 Depth: 32-bit Color Built-In: Yes Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported QuartzGL: Supported Display Connector: Status: No display connected Also I can't enable the vga output but this is a secondary problem, as I need CI/QE for some applications (also I need to test if I get improvements on virtual machines with them). I had made a lot of things with no successful results, I tried different nvcaps values from http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=103549 , also tried nvinstaller (choosing the go (mobile/laptop) option), and today I try NVkush. Also I modified the com.apple.Boot.plist following the http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...62&t=118990 instructions (not having the resolution dectected). I don't know what I can do or test, I don't know if this could help but if I try to read the vga rom bios, with nvflash (under dos) I get the following error: Identifying EEPROM ... EEPROM ID (20,FF) : Unknown ERROR : Supported EEPROM not found Well that's all I can say, if you need some more info from me, please tell me it. Thanks for your support, and best regards. beth
I don't know what I do, but now is fixed. I had reinstalled the NVinstaller v52.pkg and all works perfect, so sorry for disturbing you. Anyway, thanks and best regards, ciao.
