Memory Problems

I seam to be having some kind of memory problems. What happens is if I run a torrent downloader for about 2 hours or if im photoshoping for a long time or playing with FCP, my windows start to get small lines in running through them, if I ignor the problem I get more lines and eventually I lock up. With the mini meter up showing it shows my memory bars fill up all grey, it's when the bars are completly greyed out (think it's inactive memory, on a windows machine at work right now so I can't check.) that I get the crash. Right now I'm running 4 x 1g 800mhz corsair, when i switch to kingston 2 x1g 333mhz my system runs fine. This problem is not specific to to any update as I've had it with iaktos, kalyway 10.5.1, leo4all 10.5.2, kalyway 10.5.2, and now currently with 10.5.4 combo update.
