bravemenrun333 Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 I own this notebook: Lenovo Thinkpad R61 Intel 965M Chipset Intel C2D T7100 2.1 GHz 2GB RAM 667 MHz nVidia Quadro NVS 140M Intel 4965AGN Wireless LAN Intel PRO/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Analog Devices HD Audio (Soundmax HD Audio) Now I know the WLAN / Ethernet devices are known to be bad with OSX, and so is the audio device. Video should also not be easy, but as I read, there do exist ways to get the nVidia 140m working with 3d acceleration and so on. I will need the notebook mainly for web development and programming. The most important thing to me is the WLAN device. I heard there is a popular Atheros alternative to the Intel 4965AGN - What's the exact model name? I NEED IT As soon as I have a working access to the internet in OSX on the thinkpad, I will go on further from there. Any help is greatly appreciated.
