dbblackdiamond
Hi, I have purchased what I thought was a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L motherboard for a new osx86 installation, but it turns out that it is a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L. I have looked on the Gigabyte website to find what the differences between the two are and I can't really find anything, apart from faster FSB and faster RAM. I bought that motherboard specifically after reading these forums for its very good compatibility with OSX. Should I return the EP35 and insist on getting the P35 or should I be ok? If it helps, the motherboard will be paired with the GeForce 8800GT 256MB video card and SATA drives will be used to host the OS. Thanks a lot in advance for your help and I wanted to say that these forums are phenomenal. Such a wealth of information.
