retomi Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Ciao a tutti, ho deciso di aggiornare il mio PC e finalmente usare OSX stabilmente, ma nello scegliere la scheda madre ho dei problemi enormi. Premesso che ho già letto di tutto sono indeciso su TRE schede in particolare: - GIGABYTE GA-945GCMX-S2 - ASUS P5K-VM - ASROCK CONROE1333 - GIGABYTE GA-EP35C-DS3R - INTEL DG31PR updated L'ASROCK necessità di un downgrade del bios quindi la scarterei subito. Delle altre due qual'è quella che non dà problemi, su cui funziona tutto e subito. Sarei intenzionato a spendere max 100 € e mi pare di aver letto nel WIKI che ASUS P5K-VM è compatibile quasi al 100%. E' così anche per la 10.5.4? Ho già acquistato un INTEL CORE 2 DUO E6750 FSB1333, e dall'attuale PC vorrei recuperare 2GB di RAM DDR2 667, la GeFORCE 7600GS 256GMB, 2 dischi IDE da 500GB (insieme). Purtroppo ho anche preso una MSI P45 Neo3-FR ma il chipset P45 non è ancora supportato (a proposito qualcuno vuole comprarla? la vendo ad un'ottimo prezzo!) Credo che vada bene una qualsiasi 1333. Resta però il fatto che occorre modificare il bios. Preferirei una soluzione che non necessiti di modifiche. Lo sarei se non fosse che il rivenditore sottocasa ha la ASUS P5K-VM e qui c'é una guida su come installarla. fwood Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 ...guarda retomy... per la mia gigabyte ga-x48t-dq6 non ho sentito quasi nulla per quanto riguarda la compatibilità con x86 anche per via del chipset x48 sta di fatto che sicuramente, se dovessi avere problemi immediati (ne dubito)...sicuramente con le prossime uscite di leopard tutto sarà patchato a dovere! retomi Posted September 19, 2008 Author Share Posted September 19, 2008 Ok, come potete vedere dalla mia signature è finalmente arrivata la scheda madre! Ho provato subito la iDeneb 10.5.4 :pirate2:, con kernel Vanilla, fix per chipset, driver scheda video, e fix per la ram 667. In seguito con l'applicazione di PCWiz ho installato i driver della scheda audio. Funziona praticamente quasi tutto , l'unica cosa che non va è la modalità sleep, ma devo ancora seguire la guida diPCWiz che dovrebbe sistemare anche quello. Purtroppo non mi è andato l'aggiornamente ufficiale alla 10.5.5, l'installazione si blocca al 50% circa e poi al boot successivo non parte più il sistema Confermo comunque che le gigabyte sono le schede più supportate, la 10.5.4 riconosce tutti le mie periferiche come nessun altra Adesso cercherò in giro se c'é la possibilità di aggiornare dagli update ufficiali oppure se devo ricorrere a degli hack.
