I'm new to mac, so be gentle to me I succesfully installed 10.4.8 JaS version on an empty disc, with a few complications though, but at the end it all installed just fine. So, after first reboot i get "big gray apple" screen with a small loading circle, and after 10 seconds i get some text saying "You must restart your computer..." I restart it but then it comes all over again. What should I do, here is my pc inventory: motherboard Gigabyte p35-ds3p intel c2d E6550 (sse3 instr.) 2 Gb of RAM (800 Mhz) nVidia 8600 gts graphic (256 Mb) hard disc Seagate 250 Gb s-ata Hope for your help, Cheers! Cont3stant Posted September 12, 2008 Share Posted September 12, 2008 Probably you didn't install SSE3 patch when you installed your mac. Install it again, by picking custom instead of standard and add SSE2 and SSE3 patches. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
