mentor667 Posted September 10, 2008 Share Posted September 10, 2008 Finally I installed the “Jas 10.5.4 Client / Server” in a Compaq Presario 2800. * Intel 845 MP chipset and P4-M * Processors Intel P4-M 1.5 Ghz * ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 Graphics, 64 MB DDR SDRAM video memory. * 767MB Memory * 30 GB HDD All well. But as soon as the installation completed and restarted, I ejected the installation DVD and boot from the HDD. The first display screen (Darwin) appears but before the grey screen with the apple appears, the pc reboots again. I have tried several times using many parameters eg - X but all of them the same problem. I use –V parameter : ================================================== =========== Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132 – Chameleon v1.0.10 Build date : 2008-05-30 01:18:47 767MB Memory VESA v2.0 31MB (ATI MOBILITY RADEON 7500) Loading Darwin/x86 Loading Kernel mach_kernel Loading HFS+ file: [mach_kernel] from 4230480 Loading HFS+ file: [mach_kernel] from 4230480 LoadDrivers : Loeading from [/system/Library/Extensions.mkext] Loading HFS+ file: [/system/Library/Extensions.mkext] from 4230480 Loading HFS+ file: [/system/Library/Extensions.mkext] from 4230480 Starting Darwin/x86 ================================================== ===== After “Starting Darwin/x86” PC reboot.
