mikewaid Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 I boot it up and it just stops about a second later and just sits there saying something about hard drive buffers but no errors. I have pentium d e2180 2.0ghz ecs g31t-m 2gb ddr2 60 gb ata hdd(the one im installing it on, I thought it might be because its ide...but I do have a 500gb sata that windows is on and its split into partitions) radeon 3870 512mb and im using kalyway 10.5.2 I tried using all kernels ...i used speedstep kernel at the dvd boot and it loaded fine and no others did...but when it finishes and reboots it just stays at the hard drive buffers thing.Will get exactly what it says if needed...
