Hi, I have an HP desktop that I have been trying to install leopard on. On the first try with kalyway 10.5.2 I got this error: Still waiting for root device.

Here are my specs:

ECS Nettle2 MotherBoard

AMD Athlon 64 X@ Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3 GHz

3 GB of RAM

2 Hitatchi 320GB SATA HD's

NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller

NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 Graphics card

Realtek High Definition Audio Card

So can anyone give me a step buy step guide (im a NOOB) on the best way to install Leopard on my machine with these specs??

What worked for me was going into my BIOS and disabling the APCI, it was either that one or the APIC, one of those has an option to DISABLE, then i tried again and presto! worked like a charm, now everytine i go back to Vista, i reboot then hit Delete to go into BIOS and turn it back on, then i select my OS. Works everytime. Good luck!
