tomtcs
Anyone else in here own this board - Abit IP35P? I just can't seem to get audio working no matter what i try. -Atleast i think ive been trying the right audio codecs - ALC888 but im not positive, as it could be the ALC883, but even that im not exactly sure about. Im somewhat new to the whole mac world so any and all help would be tremendously helpful. Thanks in advance!

tomtcs
Is there a utility that can tell me what the ID of onboard audio card, much like how you would get the string for installing your graphics card in EFI mode? I just want to be sure I'm downloading the correct drivers for this board for my audio chipset. As i can not tell if its ALC889 or 883 ????
