JaS 10.5.4 installed, but no touchpad/keyboard!

Hi guys.

 

I was able to install JaS's latest release on my laptop, but my internal touchpad/stick and keyboard do not work, so am I not able to continue the installation. I was able to install it with the StageXNU kernel and everything...it looks very promising, but this thing has stopped me dead in my tracks.

 

specs:

Intel Pentium M 770 (2.13 GHz)

2 GB RAM

80 GB Disk

Intel 2915 a/b/g wireless

Quadro FX1400 on a WUXGA (1920x1200) display

 

I really don't want to reformat my Vista installation, so if anyone could offer advice that would be guaranteed to work, let me know.

Same problem with me

 

I have Laptop DELL 1505, C2D 2Ghz, ATI X1400

 

It was installed successfully but on first stratup it says no keyboard. And as i pluged my desktop keyboard it says click on ok button but where as mouse was also not working.

 

So i pluged external mouse.

 

It continues but before the desktop appears it is blackout.

 

I had selected ATI X1400 mobility.

 

 

Any body know the problems, please help.

Hi again

 

The thing i discover is that JAS 10.5.4 installs Mac Pro BIOS, so as Mac Pro is a desktop so it do not recognize the build in key board and mouse.

 

I had Kalyway 10.5.2 which recognize my system as Mac Book Pro.

 

I had tried to change

 

AppleSMBIOS.kext for laptop (MacBook) but

 

 

Where as i use external KB and Mouse which works fine. and no issue in working (except my vga x1400 mobility)
