x86rev
I just picked up a Toshiba Satellite laptop a model A105-S2101 . It came with XP Home but now has XP pro. And had none of the original drivers installed so wireless doesn't work. Any suggsetion on what I can run to find out what kind of wireless this has. I would like to evenually load Leo on this. I did run CPUz but didnt really see anything on the wireless. Maybe I'm missing something. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/124754-toshiba-a105-s2101-no-wireless/ Share on other sites
FrankOS_Scripting
Atheros WLAN 802.11b/g. Info taken in the Toshiba website... and the download link is here . Mine laptop has an Atheros Wi-Fi and it doesn't work! Somehow, the 5006 is working and recognize as Airport Extreme but 5007.. nothing! In the case of 5007, buy a Dell wireless mini PCIe 1390 or 1490 for 10$ plus shipping. The big deal is Dell wireless card are working and recognize as Airport Extreme!
