Skullv Posted September 6, 2008 Share Posted September 6, 2008 I have XP on my C: and Mac 10.4.8 on D: i pasted chain0 to C: drive & edit my boot.ini of xp now it look like this [boot loader]timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect C:\chain0="Mac OS X86" But on boot when i select "Mac OS" a cursor blinks for 1-2 secs and then again returns back to OS selection,if i select xp it works fine,i tired acrnois OS selector by that i can boot in both os but i didn't want acronis or any 3rd bootloader so please tell me where am doing wrong and why by chain method am unable to boot in mac ?????
