Jordster
Hi all, I am looking at getting osx86 on my intel laptop. I tried kalyway leo 10.5.1 and it installed correctly, until I got that com.apple.boot.plist whatever error, and then I found out my laptop wasn't compatable because it didn't have a SATA drive.. Anyway, I had a brain-wave, thinking is 10.5 has SATA, then at least one of the 1.4's must take ATA drives (correct me if I'm wrong). My laptop is Fujitsu Lifebook Siemens S6120 (And no, the CPU fan isn't my Personal Air-Conditioner! ) Specs: 80GB ATA drive 1.4Ghz Intel Pentium 4 Ubuntu 8.0.4 LTS whatever (For now, willing to upgrade to XP if I have to to get mac) 512MB RAM Intel Graphics On-Board Intel Mobo So would any version of Mac OS X run on it? And if you need any more specs, ask me. Also, I was trying to install osx through VMware - but because my OS is linux, I couldn't open the dmg file - anyone know how to install it? NOTE: Tried in terminal 'file filename.dmg' and to mount and stuff and it said no such file or directory.. Thanks in advance
