msquared Posted September 5, 2008 Share Posted September 5, 2008 ok so i went to walmart and baught this belkin f5d7010 wireless notebook card, it has an atheros 5005g chip, and i have tried everything on the forums to get it to work and nothing is seeming to work. this is my lspci info for the card lspci -nn gave me this 04:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5005G 802.11abg NIC [168c:001a] (rev 01) lspci -v gave me this 4:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5005G 802.11abg NIC (rev 01) Subsystem: Belkin Unknown device 701d Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 19 Memory at a0010000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2 any help would be greatly appreciated!!
