Chuck_Smith
I'm about to build myself an AMD system for OsX86 and I want to know if it acts like a Intel Processor or a PowerPc Processor??... or neither??... how does it handle universal apps?? non-universal ones?? Thanks in advance, Chuck BTW I'm gonna use a 5000+ processor and a M2A-VM Motherboard Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/124462-processor-detection/ Share on other sites
CrArC
It's not so much about how it "acts" (although if I had to answer I would say like an Intel Processor) more specifically OS X must be patched to support the AMD chips. Do you mean Universal binaries? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/124462-processor-detection/#findComment-880181 Share on other sites
