Can't install leopard : "Still waiting for root device"

 

i made some TEST

 

HDD(IDE) Master + DVD (IDE) Slave : NOT WORKING

HDD(IDE) Slave + DVD (IDE) Master : NOT WORKING

 

Without HDD IDE :

HDD(SATA-2nd channel) Master + DVD (IDE) slave : NOT WORKING

HDD(SATA-2nd channel) Master + DVD (IDE) master: NOT WORKING

 

HDD(SATA-1st channel) Master + DVD (IDE) slave : NOT WORKING

HDD(SATA-1st channel) Master + DVD (IDE) master: NOT WORKING

 

My dvd is IDE, with AHCI mode in BIOS : DVD not working.

 

DVD in SATA is the solution ?

 

If you have success , please write a tutorial.
