wiredmeyer
I guess I should have searched better, but others have had same issue and found the disk had not been set to active. I am trying to figure out how to this now. wiredmeyer
I did not do anything special in the BIOS. Once I set the partition active I have been able to move on to the next problem Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12427-b0-error-on-reboot-after-install/#findComment-79162 Share on other sites
Trude Traurig
Hallo! It's very simple. I tried several things but one simply work perfect. But I use it in VMware an diskimage: 1. Take a Win 98 Boot Disk or CD and boot into DOS with VMware 2. type "fdisk /mbr" and reboot 3. repeat point 1 and type "fdisk" an go to your mac-disk an make the partition active. 4. eject all floppydisk or cds and rebbot Now it should boot without the "b0 error". Alternative test your system with booting from the Install CD but DO NOT press a key. Still wait until the OSx boots up.
