Hi Guys,

Just having a few problems with my LAN connection on my work laptop. As you can see from lspci, the card shows up. I have performed the modification on the AppleIntel8255x.kext\Contents\Info.plist with the device ID 0x10928086 added to the end.

dan-laptop:~ dan$ lspci

My problem seems to be that en0 works sometimes and at other times it doesn't. When it doesn't work I have to reboot because I do a sudo ifconfig en0 down and it returns this:

daniel-mihaleffs-presario-v6000-gg178paabg-a-k:~ dan$ sudo ifconfig en0 down
Password:
ifconfig: interface en0 does not exist
daniel-mihaleffs-presario-v6000-gg178paabg-a-k:~ dan$ sudo ifconfig en0 up
ifconfig: interface en0 does not exist

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of how I could possibly fix this?

Anyone's help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Don't know whether this helps but I found this when I performed a sudo dmesg when the LAN connection doesn't work.
