USB ports not working

Firstly, sincerest apologies if this topic has been covered elsewhere. I searched for this topic, and didn't find anything. Or, if I did, I didn't understand it.

I recently purchased another hard drive to put OSX on, and was successful in installing Kalyway 10.5.2 Intel on it. So, I'm on it right now, but I discovered none of my USB ports work. Flash drives, external hard drives, front ports, back ports, keyboard ports, you name it. This presents a problem, since I only have OSX to take school projects from my external drive.

I'm running on a 2.4ghz Quad Core Intel with an Nforce 680i LT SLI motherboard. I assume my problem lies in not having the correct drivers for the motherboard. Are there Mac-oriented drivers for the motherboard, or is there some other way to get my USB ports working (if I can at all?)

1) In System Profiler you should see an entry under USB for USB High-Speed Bus

e.g.

Host Controller Location: Expansion Slot

Host Controller Driver: AppleUSBEHCI

PCI Device ID: 0x036d

PCI Revision ID: 0x00a2

PCI Vendor ID: 0x10de

Bus Number: 0x2b

2) Your kernel version and system.kext version should match.......see here.....
