max33 Posted March 18, 2006 Share Posted March 18, 2006 I have install the 10.4.5 version called MacOSX_10.4.4DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso and it works but i have some problem .First my computer is a laptop medion with chipset SIS 645DX,SIS 7012 onbord AC97 sound and Radeon M9000 . My problem are : * Hard disk very low (about 2 M/S) and seems to be due to chipset SIS * Radeon Mobility 9000 is working with ATIRadeon8500.kext but no opengl and chess crash If i rename ATIRadeon8500.kext .disabled (in order to not load it) chess works . I did some test with xbench 1.2 and with 8500kext loaded opengl test crash and without it works but a about 0.8 frames per second ... *And the most big problem is NO SOUND at all.... I tried some modification of AppleAC97AudioIntel but still not working .Seems tobe due to the SIS chipset ID 0x70121039 .... So pretty good for the moment but if i could have a hd with a better speed and the soud i think it will be perfect..
