brianslater1
I have a Powerspec 7115 with the specs and I would like to know what recommended installations I can use. I have attempted a kalyway 10.5.1 vanilla and it reboot loops, and when trying sleep and speedstep, it does seem to boot, however it grey screens for a LONG time and never actually boots up to the OS. It would be a big help if someone could help me install this, Thanks in advance Processor Intel® Pentium® D Processor 805 OS genuine Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional Edition System Board ECS RC410-M System Memory 1GB composed of 2- 512MB DDR2/533 DIMMS Hard Drive 250GB 7200RPM Ultra ATA DVD ±R/±RW Drive 16x Dual Layer DVD±R/±RW Drive Video Integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Sound Integrated 8 Channel Audio CODEC ALC883 Modem 56K Conexant V.92 PCI Internal Modem LAN Realtek Integrated 10/100 Ethernet RTL8100C Controller Firewire Via VT6307L IEEE 1394 Firewire Controller
Oracle67
Better use an external USB HD to do not mess your functioning operating system, you can make any attempt on installation and any test there in safety. Use a slow writted copy of kalyways 10.5.2 image, x2 or x1 it would be perfect just to ensure quality issues. Put it in your Drive and hit F8 and then -v and Enter. Before the installation and after language choice press "Utilities" and run "DiskUtility". Be sure that your HD is erased HSF Jurnalised and close the Disk Utility. Before you press "install" you should press "customize" and chose VERY carefully and by the instructions of the release what packages fits you better. After that steps hit "Install". I wish you luck.
