leo4me Posted August 31, 2008 Share Posted August 31, 2008 Hello. I'm trying to install EFI, but can't get past a blinking cursor when booting. I've been looking for information about boot0 and boot1h and what they're actually doing. Most of the posts I've found are dealing with MBR instead of GUID and I'm not sure how much of what I see applies to GUID. 1) Should I use fdisk to make my HFS+ partition active on a GUID-partitioned disk? 2) Do I need to bless my HFS+ partition?
