I installed Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd.iso.However, when I start going through the setup process, the process hangs on the screen "Do you already own a mac?"I then select "Do not transfer my information now" and then after a while it goes back to the setup keyboard screen. I then read how to fix this and restarted computer selecting F8 and typing in -s to enter single user mode.

I then typed the following command

CODE

/sbin/fsck -fy

/sbin/mount -uw /

touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone

passwd root

It then asked me to type in a new password and I typed in a new password then typed in "exit" to reboot. Now when I restart my computer there seems to be a Log in window with the leopard wallpaper in the background. I typed my name and the password I made but the window shakes as if it doesn't recognise my name and password. Please help!!!!

EDIT :

I managed to Log on by selecting "root" as my name and the password I selected as my password.
