VinnyPel2ella Posted August 31, 2008 Share Posted August 31, 2008 Okay so I have tried pretty much every way of installing OS X on my PC and all have failed because of my SATA HD, so I found this solution online Installing 10.4.3 for nForce and SATA. I have followed each step 100% accurately, many times over again, and I still get the same exact error each time. It is saying that the "root filesystem is read only", I have tried using both the physical HD and virtual HD(The guide said to use this) but neither of them work. If anyone can provide any information about this error please help, this is becoming very frustrating that I have not been able to install this yet and ive put so much work into it.
