ROFLance
Okay, so I have a Q6600, and I'm trying to overclock on my GA-EP35-DS3L, and I'm failing miserably. I changed some ram settings, but eventually I reset everything back to stock. Everything seems normal, however, when my bios screen loads, it says, "Memory runs in single channel". Also, when I check my About This Mac, instead of saying "4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM", like it used to, it just says "4 GB 800 MHz RAM". I tried testing my RAM with Rember, and it said I passed. I reset the CMOS on my motherboard, and tried taking the RAM out and putting it back in. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? ROFLance
Okay, so I'm an idiot, and I didn't realize that the colors were off, so I put the RAM in the right DIMMs and now its running dual channel. However, OS X is still reporting the ram as "800 MHz RAM" instead of 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Anyone know why it's reading it like that now?
