I decide to install MAC OS on to my machine by pure curiosity (now is madness ), but this make me headache My PC has following configuration - MB - Intel DG33BU CPU - c2 quad Q6600 - 2.4GHz RAM - 2x1GB KIT Kingston - 800Mhz HDD - seagate 320GB SATA II CD - DVD Optiarc - 7203 - SATA Video - internal MB video - GMA 3100 (it is not GMAX3100) As I'm convinced, that your answer will be - google it or RTFM!, I want to tell you - its done. I've read a couple of tutorials about install MAC OS in to non mac machine, but the final result is.. frozen system. I need to tell you that the BIOS is configure exactly step by step from tutorials (BIOS is updated to the last version up to today): Max CPUID Value Limit - disable Configure SATA as - AHCI S.M.A.R.T - enabled XD Technology - Enable Intel Virtualization Technology - enable ACPI Suspend State - S3 State I was try every variations of boot parameters without any luck This is part of my last lines when i try to boot: parameters: -v -f ..... Waiting for boot volume with UUID ........... ACPI_SMC_CtrkLoop::initCPUCtrlLoop - pmCPUControl (PMIOCSETPSTATETABLE) returned 0xffffffff Distro is iDeneb 10.5.4... Loaded kernel when boot is - Darwin Кernel Version 9.2.0: Sun Mar 2 00:11:08 SCT 2008; made by ToH:xnu-1228/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 This is a picture ... partal picture of my boot screen - Sorry for my poor english. Can i use different kernel while boot? If It is possible - how to see available kernels on install DVD? Is there related switches for ACPI, but not "platform"?
