test_and_trash
Any idea on how make it work? It does not seem to see the serial port on my ASUS P4P800. Getting a xDSL connection is not an option . test_and_trash
10.4.1 I made it work . I left ACPI active (non adding platform=X86PC boot parameter) and now it see the COM port. I'm writing that from Safari . I have tried some different drivers and now I'am using the Apple Personal Modem. In theory it is a slower modem than mine (28.8 form a google search) but the download speed seems to be good (4.7 - 5 K YEAH! ).
