Now i have GeForce 6600 (PCI-E), and CoreImage & OpenGL doesen't work. Can i enable it or not? 2. If not... Which GPU should i buy? MacApprentice Posted March 17, 2006 Share Posted March 17, 2006 1 - There's no nVidia support. 2 - The best compatibility is the GMA900/950 integrated Intel card, not that powerfull but good enough for heavy 2D and some good 3D. With those you got CI& QE and res/refresh rate change. See my sig for a good setup. If you still want a separate CG you can go for an ATI card (x600 and x800 are reported to work as I remember, I maybe wrong on the corect model) with those you'll get CI&QE but res stuck @ 1280x1024@60Hz or some other, and res change in apps and games won't work. So, I need to know which ATI card will (WILL!) work in ma OS X. Please, tell me, which model exactly I should buy. I also saw X1600Pro (by Saphire) in one of the stores... should it work properly?
