dponmac
Did you check Disk Utility to see if it found any drives? Sometimes you have to have Disk Utility partition a drive for you before the installation will let you choose a drive to install on. dponmac
yeah, try making your partition there, hopefully that will fix it. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12295-installation/#findComment-77497 Share on other sites
blackentangled
make sure your the partition you put os x into is a primary partition. os x will only install on primary partitions. sdy284
http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=11339 have you seen this? this should help you also, you should create a primary FAT32 (name it mac for example) partition before you try and install osx. Then when you start the osx install process open the disk utility and click on the (mac) partition then on the right click the erase button, then mac osx extended & journaled. It will then ask "are you sure you want to erase the partion mac" or something like that. click yes then it'll do its thing. After its finished you can then proceed with the install process & it'll pick up the new partition.
