Abcmsaj
Ok. I'll tell you what I've done so far: I downloaded 10.5.1 Kalyway and installed it on my laptop, which worked beautifully - But I didn't understand how to update. 1) How do I update to 10.5.2 (I'm downloading the combo update, but I don't understand how it's done) 2) Does the same then apply for 10.5.3 and 10.5.4? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/122845-help-my-first-dual-boot-please/ Share on other sites
kytzu
there are 10.5.4 distributions already on dvd. if you want to update you have to read the tutorials, 10.5.2 to 10.5.3 is tricky, 10.5.3 to 10.5.4 is easy for vanilla kernels (software update). Theoretically, with combo update you can jump from 10.5.1 straight to 10.5.4. However I recommend you to download a 10.5.4 DVD release. Abcmsaj
I see what you mean... I've had a problem getting from 10.5.2 to 10.5.3. (thread here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=122866) The only 10.5.4 I can find is the Server from JaS though Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/122845-help-my-first-dual-boot-please/#findComment-869346 Share on other sites
