JaS 10.5.4 non-working on D945GCLF

Attempted to install Jas 10.5.4 release using just about every configuration I could think of on the 945GCLF (board with integrated atom processor) and could not do it. Every single time right at the end it would freeze up with the HD activity light on (can still move the mouse, etc.). Sits at "Estimated time 1 minute" or something (can't remember the exact verbiage). Left it there for like 6 hours one day, nothing. Attempted to install using Kalyway 10.5.2 and worked perfectly on the first install. From what I've read it seems JaS' releases are normally top notch however after reading all the problems people are having with this release and not in Kaly 10.5.2/other distros maybe the latest wasn't his greatest. I am not sure who or what he used for beta testing on different platforms, etc. Hopefully someone finds a workaround to this issue as I would love to use JaS's release simply because of the update integration saves headache going through updates?

 

Thoughts?

 

Also, not bashing JaS in ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, just saying a lot of people are having troubles with his release but you can say that about any distro.
