Hi, ive recently installed leopard and when i went to install a new kext, finder and terminal froze plus the spinning cursor showed up. After waiting a while i just restarted the computer. But instead of booting normaly it froze before it got to darwin and wouldn't let me go to my bios. If i unplug my power cord and let it sit for a while it boots normaly. But then when i tried to install the kext again it froze so i shutdown and unplugged the power cord. when i tried again i got this error booting leopard.

"AppleUSBEHCI[0x46f2800]: :Found a transaction past the completition deadline on bus 0x22, timing out!"

and then

"I0ATAController device blocking bus"

these repeat over and over again many times.

Im not to worried about the errors above, only the freezing. ill be reinstalling i think. So what can i do in this install to prevent these things from happening?

any suggestions? thanks for your help.
