Kimari
I've had a stable version of Kalyway 10.5 with a 8800GT using EFI GFX strings since May. Yesterday I upped and packed my desktop and moved it to a new location. When I plugged everything back in (making sure that all my components inside had not disconnected from the mobo), I started getting really weird graphical problems in OS. Seemed that any graphics-centric programs (quicktime, vlc, emulators, games) would completely freeze up OSX or give me a kernel panic. In addition, any of OSX's built in graphics functions are glitchy (moving windows around is slow, has a bit of bleeding image, expose, etc is also slow) and takes up a lot of CPU usage. I have Vista installed on this computer and there's no problems on that side, so something must have happened in OSX. Any help?
