Gudhjohnson
Hello, at first i'm sorry for my bad english and hope everybody can understand me. I think i made a misstake. Yesterday i installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on my laptop. For this i created 2 partitions. I installed OsX on the 2nd. OsX run perfectly. After this i installed Ubuntu 8.04 on the 1st partition. My problem. i couldn't boot OsX. I read that i have to fix my grub to load osX. It still doesn't work because i don't know what i have to write in the grub.list. My main qestion: When i start up my pc grub is loading and i have to press esc to come in the grub bootloader. Now I can select OsX. Is there an other way? Does there exist an other bootloader which automatically loads OsX and where i have to press an key to load Ubuntu? I'm sorry. I don't know if there is still a topic about. Thanks for help Gudh Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/122400-dual-booting-ubuntu-osx/ Share on other sites
wmarsh
If you can boot Linux, then follow my guide to fix grub so it will boot OS X. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry606752 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/122400-dual-booting-ubuntu-osx/#findComment-868970 Share on other sites
