Building a hackintosh ? best parts ?

Hi there been reading alot to do with the osx86 project and i really fancy a mac, but like alot of people i cannot afford one, i would gladly buy an osx leopard disk and pay the licence.

 

Id like to know what is the best hardware to add to what i have, i want as flawless mac osx86 pc as i can, i want to keep some of my own hardware.

 

Id liek to keep my intel quad core q6600 processor, my antec p180 case, my stealth xtream ocz psu 600watt, my sony dvd rw, and my nvidia 8800gt.

 

I need recomendations for a motherboard, that should work out of the box, i checked the compatability list, and would like ot know what oob means, i need one that i wont have to do anything for. One that the disk wil have the drivers for

 

I need a new hard drive, over 150gbs and i need to know what will work, i know sata can have problems.

 

And wireless, i need a wireless card to get on my speedtouch router that will work flawless.

 

Oh and maybe a webcamera, im guessing my microsoft one will not work.

You are the 98347598346th person to ask this exact same question on these forums. Seriously though, peruse the forums for a bit, read guides on how to set up different pieces of hardware with OS X. There are even guides on how to set up a complete system from the ground up, you can just buy exactly what they used and follow the guide word for word. There are several years of posts in these forums detailing how a multitude of hardware interacts with OS X.

 

Most of my animosity is not directed at you, but at your 98347598345 predecessors who asked the same question and make up a good portion of the insanelymac posts that make it to my rss feed. Good luck with your build.
