Tobias6
Just wondering, this may be extremely stupid, but Ill plow on anyhow (as stupid/brave people do!). Is it possible to install/ polish using something like VMware to emulate OSx from in, say, XP? To be able to do an install and get any missing kexts etc. from a working OS (while logged onto InsanelyMac for help obv) would make it SOOOO much easier... -T Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/122219-vmware-install/ Share on other sites
SticMAC™
No, as VMware assign virtual devices for it to work, ie, you will have a different NIC in your machine than what VMware will be using! Same for the Sound and Video! SticMAN Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/122219-vmware-install/#findComment-864857 Share on other sites
Tobias6
Bah... wish there was some way to emulate it using actual hardware. Just thinking out-loud. Thanks for replying. -T Oh, and "Elite spelling and grammar checker"... SticMAC™
And all of a sudden, everybody is a CRITIC! SticMAN "haven't you heard, that a mechanic's car is always broken, a painter's house is always shabby, and a carpenter's table always wobbly!?"
