N3il
Hello, first time posting but I have read around a few topics trying to find the solution.. But im getting different problems depending on who's disk i use.. My hardware: Asus P5Q-E (P45 chipset), Intel Q9550, nvidia gtx 280. I have my sata set to AHCI. If I try Kalyway I get these error messages: Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style Extension "com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style If i use JaS OSx86 10.5.4, I can get to the install screen which i assume is some stripped down linux distro, but my file system appears to be in read only mode (Did some googling about this and found some mount remount command line but it wasnt supported), so i have no drives to install it to Can anyone suggest something please Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/122060-cant-install-leopard-would-appreciate-any-help/ Share on other sites
ISantop
Did you go to the erase tab, or the partition tab. If you want to reformat a partition, select it, not the disk, on the left, then go to the "Erase" tab. BTW, the installer is actually OS X, but it has been "Stripped down". The installer is an OS X program, though, and needs OS X's files to run.
