Hey all,

I have this HP DV2310us laptop with an AMD Turion X2 & NForce chipset. I have tried installing ever distro from 10.4.6 to 10.5.4 without success. I have injected MeDevil's newest Nforce kexts, NATIT.kext, & the 9.4 kernel in IDeneb's 10.5.4 release, and I still cant get this to work. I can now see and partition my SATA Hard drive, Install the OS, but it just gets stuck in a reboot loop after the install. I have tried -legacy, -s, -x, -v, -f, etc but with the same results. I will post the exact Kernel message later, but I just want to know if ANYONE with this laptop or CPU/Chipset combo got any release working with it?

Thanks

Ok, so I have managed to get it to load the kernel now, but it still wont boot. It gets stuck at:

CODE SIGNING: cs_invalid_page: p=74[mdworker] clearing CS_Valid

The kernel seems to load pretty far, but I get alot these error messages throughout, and it gets stuck at this one and hangs. i have let it sit over an hour at that spot and it never advances. Thanks in advance

Hi Timmytim,

Like you, I have the same problem, except that you even got further than I did. How did you get to actually booting?

Same problem here timmy. my specs are different, Dell Inspiron 1501 with an X2 trying to load leopard from Leo4All. It loads the wireless, then hangs at the clearing cs_valid error

::edit::

After giving it a minute or two at that error, hitting enter would advance it. It stalled once again, and hitting enter once again advanced it to the normal boot up.

I have no clue

I'm running a Dell Inspiron 1501 with Kalyway 10.5.2. I get the same hang but can't get past it unless I but in safe mode (-x)
