owner
I wiped my XP partition and installed leopard on it (with a few problems), now i also want to dual boot with xp (or vista) but how should i go about doing this? Also in Leopard my internet browser crashes every so often, sometimes stops working altogether until i restart my computer. My final problem is that i cant set my display to 75 hz if i put it to the full resolution (1680x1050) I would be very greatful if someone could answer my questions Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121652-leopard-working-but-how-do-i-get-windows-back/ Share on other sites
GenMatrix
There are TONS of tutorials on dual booting, use the search function or google. As for the display problem, list your computer spec's, otherwise no one can guess it. It's not dual booting that is the problem, the problem is that i have only leopard no xp (as i deleted it) i need to know if i just install xp normally on another partition or do i have to do it an a specific way (i came across a guide on these forums showing how to install xp if you have only leopard and there were a few other steps required from what i can remember). I cant find that thread now and for some reason the search feature of this site isn't working for me at the moment. I have a ATI x1300 pro graphic card Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121652-leopard-working-but-how-do-i-get-windows-back/#findComment-860669 Share on other sites
kytzu
make 2 active partitions, install xp on one and leo on the other one (any order) then change the active partition depending on what do you want to boot, no special actions needed unless you want dual boot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121652-leopard-working-but-how-do-i-get-windows-back/#findComment-861122 Share on other sites
